Published: September 11, 2015
With 5 goals in his last 5 games, Chicago Fire DP Kennedy Igboananike is one of the most in - form players in Major League Soccer.
After 21 matches in 2015, the ex AIK star managed only 2 goals in the league but his form has picked up recently after he started partnering Gilberto in attack, and he is pleased with his recent purple patch.
“Like I said before, I can play with anybody, and since I have been playing (here) I haven’t been playing with fellow strikers,” Kennedy Igboananike told MLSsoccer.com.
“Most of the guys are midfielders or wingers, but when you have a striker up front you know what to do.
“Both of you communicate better, so I think it’s a better combination.”
Chicago Fire recently bought Kennedy Igboananike’s Designated Player contract and this has motivated him.
