Victor Moses Dazzles On West Ham Debut
Published: September 15, 2015Victor Moses was very solid in attack as he celebrated a winning debut, helping West Ham beat Newcastle United 2 - 0 at Boleyn Ground on Monday night.
The Nigeria international almost capped off a fine performance by scoring his maiden goal for The Hammers only to see his shot off the crossbar and Payet was in the right place at the right time, slotting home the rebound in the 48th minute.
Moses, who has played for Liverpool and Chelsea, has showered praise on Dimitri Payet, confessing that he was mesmerized by the skills of the France midfielder.
“Payet is definitely up there with the best players I’ve played with; he’s got huge ability as his showed with both his goals,” said Moses to his club’s official website, whufc.com.
“His touch, his skill he’s quick too, he’s definitely up there with the best I’ve played alongside with.”
West Ham now have nine points and have climbed to fifth position on the Premier League table.
