Ex Enugu Rangers Defender Coly Labels Nigerian Clubs Amateur
Former Enugu Rangers stopper Pierre Coly has finally been given the all - clear to resume his career with Botola 2 side Chabab Atlas Khenifra after the Nigeria Federation sent his International Transfer Certificate to their Moroccan counterparts last week.

Calling a spade a spade, the Senegalese defender regretted his decision to spend five years of his career in the Nigeria Premier League, adding that the teams are not run professionally.

“I am free now to play for Chabab Atlas Khenifra, they sent my International Transfer Certificate last week,' Coly told allnigeriasoccer.com.

“I had to leave Rangers because Chabab Atlas Khenifra are better than them and you know that. I never pray to play in the Nigerian league again in my life.

“Second Division here in Morocco is better than the Nigeria Professional Football League. They are professionals and Nigeria is still amateur.

“I am enjoying the league and people are giving me my respect, I spent five years in Nigeria and I got nothing.

Pierre Coly, who has penned a two - year contract with Chabab Atlas Khenifra, will play with the number 13 jersey this season.
