William Oluremi John Gives A Thumbs - Up To RoPS Teammate Friday Obilor
Published: September 27, 2015Ex United States youth international William Oluremi John has nothing but praise for his RoPS teammate Faith Friday Obilor and has declared that he is one of the best defenders in the Finnish Veikkausliiga.
Both Nigerian players were on the scoresheet in the first half as RoPS defeated VPS 2 - 1 at Rovaniemen Keskuskenttä on Sunday evening.
“He’s a great player and a good friend, a very tough defender . He knows the league well as he’s been here for quite sometime,” says Will John to allnigeriasoccer.com.
RoPS tentatively went top in the Veikkausliiga standings following their victory over VPS and would be crowned champions if their nearest challengers SJK drop points in their remaining fixtures and they win the next three games.
“We had the belief ever since I joined the club that it was possible. So nothing has changed , we go one game at a time, ” Will John added.
