Fanendo Adi Named MLS Player Of The Week

Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi has been named the Player of the Week in the MLS for Week 33.
The Nigerian notched a brace in the Timbers 5 - 2 win over LA Galaxy on Sunday, four days after he netted the game - winner in the road win against Real Salt Lake.
His brace last weekend took his tally in the MLS to 24 goals since he arrived in Oregon from Copenhagen, and he has now surpassed Diego Valeri as Portland’s all-time leading scorer in the American top flight.
Fanendo Adi has bagged 15 goals this term, the highest number of goals scored by a Timbers player in a single - season in the MLS.
The North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) picks the most outstanding player in the MLS each week.
