Ugonna Uzochukwu Grabs Winner For Chippa United
Published: October 30, 2015Ugonna Uzochukwu assisted Chippa United secure their third win of the season on Friday night against Mpumalanga Black Aces at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium (Port Elizabeth) .
There was plenty of Nigerian interest in this game, with three Super Eagles players in the shape of Daniel Akpeyi, James Okwuosa and Uzochukwu making the Chilli Boys starting XI .
The game was heading for a draw with seven minutes left but ex Enugu Rangers star Uzochuwku popped up to score his first goal in the Premier Soccer League since September 2014.
The three Nigerian players went the distance for Chippa United, who have moved into eighth place in the standings.
