Abia Warriors Motivate Players By Inaugurating MOTM Award
Published: November 01, 2015In order to motivate and bring out the best in her players, Abia Warriors FC have commenced man-of the match awards to their best player in every home game.
According to the club marketing manager Johnny Ogbah in a release, the award commenced in the last league match against Lobi stars and former Kwara Utd utility player Anthony Okemmiri was voted as man-of-the-match by journalists at the game and was immediately presented with a handsome cash reward.
“We are raising the bar in the Enyimba game,” said Ogbah who doubles as the club legal adviser.
“Our Chairman has increased the M.O.T.M cash prize just to motivate the players to give their best in the Abia Classico.
“We shall also be conducting our usual raffle draw where lucky fans will be given replica shirts, standard balls, bags, kitchen stools and various other items and also ensure that all children who come to the stadium on match day are given family packs and light refreshment to make their day. ”
