Fidelis Irhene Returns From Injury But Portimonense Suffer Defeat
Published: November 02, 2015Irhene Fidelis Christopher made an injury return to Portimonense in the Segunda Liga in Portugal last weekend but his side suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Famalicão.
Fidelis, who had to be rested for two weeks following an injury concern, was a second - half entry in the tie as he came on for Dener Gomez Clemente on 76th minute.
However, the introduction of the FC Porto loanee did little for his side as they failed to pull a goal back to add respectability to the final scoreline.
Portimonense are still placed second on the log of the second - tier with 23 points after 13 games, four points adrift table-toppers Porto B.
Portimonense’s next game is against Benfica B on Wednesday, November 4.
