NFF Fix November 9 For Appeals Hearing

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has fixed November 9 2015 for cases sent to the Appeals Committee by parties who are not satisfied with decisions reached at the sittings of the Organising and Disciplinary Committee, O&D.

The case soccer loving Nigerians are however, interested in is the decision to nullify the results of the game between Spotlight FC of Katsina and Plateau United FC of Jos played at the Katsina township Stadium on the last day of the 2014/2015 Nigeria National League, NNL.

Plateau United FC of Jos won the NNL division A1 after beating their hosts, Spotlight FC of Katsina 2-1 in match-day 14 of their encounter to amass 29 points and Superior goals advantage over Adamawa United FC of Yola who also amassed the same number of points following their match-day 14 victory over Supreme Court FC of Abuja in Abuja same day as the Spotlight/Plateau United encounter.

But in a rather controversial circumstance, the O&D of the NFF decided to firstly award the Katsina game to the hosts, but later sent another letter ultimately nullifying the result of the game.

Soccer onlookers are eagerly awaiting the decision of the Appeals Committee of the NFF on this case.
