Ex Golden Eaglet sensation Kelechi Iheanacho played 33 minutes of Manchester City’s shock 2 - 0 loss to Stoke City at Britannia Stadium . It was the 19 - year - old’s 10th appearance in the English Premier League.

Peter Odemwingie is still recovering from a hamstring complaint so missed out on the Potters 18 - man squad.

Both Tiago Ilori and Gabby Agbonlahor started on the bench for Aston Villa in their 1 - 1 draw with Southampton, but the England international joined the fray in the fifth minute of injury time.

Nigeria international Odion Ighalo and Scotland star Ikechi Anya were involved in Watford’s 2 - 0 home win against Norwich City.

Ighalo gave the Hornets a 2 - 0 lead in the first minute of second  - half stoppage time before he was cautioned seconds later, then substituted in the 94th minute. Anya was replaced in the 74th minute.
