Odion Ighalo Says Game Plan Was Executed To Perfection
Published: December 06, 2015Odion Ighalo was pleased to score for the ninth time in the Premier League this season as Watford defeated Norwich City 2-0.
The Nigeria national - teamer said their game plan was executed to perfection as they stopped the opponents from playing their own game and reckons that it was one of their best performances of the season so far.
“The key today was that we pressed them high and we didn’t allow them to play, so they played long balls and that’s what we were waiting for, ” Ighalo told Hornets PlayerHD.
“When we got the ball we tried to play and counter them, so the game-plan really worked and we played really good today
“I think today was one of our best games, after the West Ham game, so we want to keep pushing and see how far we are going to go at the end of the season.”
Ighalo is the fourth highest goalscorer in the Premier League after 15 rounds, with just one goal separating him from Romelo Lukaku and Riyad Mahrez, who are joint second with ten goals.
