Remo Stars Football Club Recruit Youth Team Players
Published: December 17, 2015Nigeria National League side Remo Stars signed on 27 players into their youth team from the participating Football Academies after a three - day screening exercise in Ijebu-Ode.
Kakuri Football Academy from Kaduna State recorded the highest number of players signed with four, while Monsuru Moru of Ine Stars of Benin was the youngest player signed from the exercise.
Speaking after the exercise Team Manager Yinka Samuel welcomed the players signed and was full of optimism seeing some of the players representing the country in the next U 17 World Cup.
“We are happy for this young lads to have been picked by the coaches and eventually make the final squad, its the beginning of their football careers and they have made the right step by making the Junior Team of this great club.
“I want to encourage every one of them to keep working hard because they are yet to arrive at the world stage rather they have been seen coach able by the coaches of the team and with the right mentality and coaching I am certain they will be representing the country in the next U 17 World Cup cause they have the potential to do so, ” Samuel said.
