Dominic Solanke Pleased To Be Back Among The Goals For Vitesse
Published: December 19, 2015England youth - teamer Dominic Solanke was back among the goals as Vitesse Arnhem thrashed Twente 5 - 1 in their final game of 2015 before the winter break, to take his tally to 5 goals from 15 games.
The Chelsea loanee had been searching for his first goal in the Eredivisie since he found the net in Vitesse’s 3 - 0 thrashing of Excelsior at the end of October.
“Good win tonight to finish the first half of the season, back to England for a few weeks now for Christmas , ” Solanke tweeted shortly after the tie at the GelreDome.
Solanke played the full game for the home team while teammate Abiola Dauda watched proceedings from the bench for the entire contest.
Vitesse Arnhem tentatively occupy the fourth position on the table with 28 points garnered.
