Winner Of Oba Aromolaran Cup, Nana Set For Norway Tourney
Published: December 26, 2015The winner of the female category of the recently concluded Oba Aromolaran National Under-17 Soccer Tournament, Nana Queens of Ondo State are set to jet out to Oslo in Norway to represent the country in an international competition.
The Ore based female side earned the slot after emerging winner in three national soccer competitions hosted by A Square Sports International.
The team according to its proprietor, Prince Nana Olabode has put every machinery in motion to be a good representative of Nigeria owing to the high pedigree the nation in women football on the continent.
The Cup donor and financier of Oba Aromolaran Soccer Competition, HRM Oba Dr. Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran while presenting the first female prize to Nana Queens also urged the team to be a good ambassador of the nation by putting up a good performance and return with good results.
The respected monarch however, reaffirmed his commitment to the youth capacity building through sports, especially football that is considered to be the most popular game globally.
