Catch up on the performance of players of Nigerian descent in the English Premier League on Saturday.

As expected Victor Moses did not feature in West Ham’s 2 - 0 win against Liverpool at Boleyn Ground . Jordon Ibe went the distance for the visitors while Angelo Ogbonna played the full game for the Hammers.

Gabriel Agbonlahor remains out of favour at Aston Villa, with the former Three Lions striker not making the 18 - man squad in the 3 - 1 loss to Sunderland.

Alex Iwobi made Arsenal’s 18 - man squad for the seventh game in a row across all competitions but was an unused sub in the  1- 0 win over Newcastle United.

Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe failed a late fitness test and was not included in West Brom’s squad versus Stoke City.

The Potters, who were without their Nigerian star Peter Odemwingie, lost 2 - 1 at The Hawthorns.

In the evening kickoff, Watford star Odion Ighalo will start a Premier League game for the 19th time in his career against Manchester City. Flying Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho has not been included in the Citizens 18 - man squad.
