Austin Amutu To Make Ironi Kiryat Shmona Debut, Subject To Release Of ITC
Published: January 07, 2016
Austin Amutu could make his official debut for Israeli Premier League side Ironi Kiryat Shmona on Saturday against Hapoel Ra’anana, after penning a three - and - a - half - year contract.
The former Warri Wolves frontman featured against Bnei Yehuda and Hapoel Haifa in the Toto Cup but those games can not be classified as official games in the true sense because the Israeli Federation permits trialists to participate in the competition.
Having sparkled at training and during the Toto Cup, by all indications Amutu will be handed a starting berth against Hapoel Ra’anana, subject to the release of his International Transfer Certificate.
Ironi Kiryat Shmona sit seventh in the standings with 21 points after 17 matches played.
