Hapoel Beer Sheva Striker Tony Nwakaeme Nominated For Player Of The Week
Published: January 12, 2016Hapoel Beer Sheva frontman Tony Nwakaeme is one of the five candidates nominated for the Player of the Week for the last round of matches played in the Israeli Premier League.
The 26 - year - old is in the running for the award alongside Tal Ben Haim (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Sagiv Yehezkel (Hapoel Tel Aviv), Ran Itzhak (Hapoel Kfar Saba) and Mahran Lala (Hapoel Haifa).
This past weekend, Nwakaeme was impressive in Hapoel Beer Sheva’s 3 - 0 win against Hapoel Acre, scoring in the 90th minute after he was set up by John Ogu.
The ex Hapoel Ra’anana star has appeared 18 times in the top division this term with 6 goals to his name.
