FA Cup Team News : Iwobi On The Bench For Arsenal; Watford Star Ighalo Makes First Start
Published: March 13, 2016Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has named his starting line-up for his side’s FA Cup clash against Watford on Sunday afternoon and has omitted Nigeria international Alex Iwobi.
The 19-year-old, who drops to the bench, has featured from the start in the previous four games contested by the defending champs in this competition, lasting the distance in Tuesday’s 4-0 rout of Hull City.
As for Watford, Odion Ighalo has been handed his first start this season in the FA Cup by manager Quique Sánchez Flores while Scotland international of Nigerian descent, Ikechi Anya, is on the bench.
The Super Eagles star will be hoping to end his goal drought which has lasted 549 minutes, having failed to find the net in seven straight games across all competitions.
