Hope Akpan Doubtful To Face Former Team Reading
Published: May 05, 2016Hope Akpan is doubtful for Blackburn Rovers’ final game in the Championship this season against his former team Reading.
The Nigeria international was unavailable for selection last weekend against Rotherham United due to an ankle injury which might have ended his season, with manager Paul Lambert stating that he will field the same squad that faced the The Millers.
Akpan joined Blackburn Rovers from Reading last August and has made 37 appearances for his current employer across all competitions in the ongoing season.
