Nigeria Federation Mapping Out Strategies Ahead Of World Cup Qualifiers
Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick says the Super Eagles will get all the support from his administration as they bid to qualify for the World Cup for the sixth time.

The senior national team failed to qualify for the 2017 African Cup of Nations following their loss to Egypt in Alexandra back in March.

Ahead of the resumption of the World Cup qualifiers in October, all is not well, with Chris Giwa laying claim to the same office occupied by the Pinnick.

“We cannot afford any distractions, not from anywhere. We have an objective of qualifying for Russia 2018 and that is not what we can negotiate. That is one of the reasons I am in the office today,” said Pinnick to thenff.com.

“The Board has to look at various areas of the preparation as we countenance the draw for the group phase of the series that is coming up on 24th June.”

Once again, the NFF supremo stated that he was delighted with the results of the two friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg, and is optimistic that the young squad will take Nigeria football to new levels of excellence.
