Five Players Of Nigerian Descent On Duty In England U19s Loss To Mexico
All five players of Nigerian descent that traveled to Mexico were in action on Monday evening as the England Under-19s suffered a 1-0 loss to the North Americans at Centro de Alti Rendimiento.

The Real Betis-linked striker Dominic Solanke, Chelsea Young Player Of The Year Fikayo Tomori, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Joshua Onomah made Aidy Boothroyd’s starting line-up.

On 60 minutes, Onomah was replaced, the same time Ademola Lookman was introduced and Liverpool starlet Sheyi Ojo replaced Solanke, while Tomori played for 80 minutes.

The game was heading for a draw until a late header sealed a 1-0 win for the Mexicans.

The Young Lions will head off to Germany next month for the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, and will lock horns with France, Netherlands and Croatia in Group B.
