NFF Supremo Pinnick Pays His Respects To Superhero Stephen Keshi

Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick has paid tribute to ex-Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi, after he passed away aged 54 in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The former New Nigeria Bank libero was coach of the national team when the ex-Delta State Sports Commission chairman was elected president of the NFF in September 2014.
Pinnick stated via the official Twitter page of the Nigeria Football Federation: “Keshi was a superhero. His death is a big loss to Nigeria as a nation, not only to Nigeria football.”
Keshi began his professional career with ACB Lagos, followed by spells with New Nigeria Bank, Stade d’Abidjan and Africa Sports in Ivory Coast.
In Europe, he played for Lokeren,Anderlecht, RC Strasbourg and RWDM before moving to the United States, where he represented CCV Hydra and Sacramento Scorpions.
