Barcelona Defender Ekpolo, Watford Star Ighalo React To Passing Away Of Keshi
Published: June 08, 2016Barcelona defender Elohor Godswill Ekpolo and Watford star Odion Ighalo have described the death of Stephen Keshi as a sad day for Nigerian football.
Having represented the Flying Eagles, Ighalo made his maiden competitive appearance for the senior national team against Chad, with Stephen Keshi in the dugout.
“Today is a very sad day, one of the greatest player of our country just pass way. R.I.P#StephenKeshi#NGRð��³ð��¬ð���, ” Ekpolo tweeted.
A shocked Odion Ighalo added : “R.I.P big Boss,Thank u for everythingð��¥ð��ð���.”
Godswill Ekpolo was born in Benin City and Keshi represented the famous local club New Nigeria Bank before he moved to the Ivory Coast.
