Liverpool Wonderkid Bobby Adekanye Turning Heads In Germany
Published: July 17, 2016Liverpool talent Bobby Adekanye is impressing in pre-season , having fully recovered from an injury he picked up while on international duty with the Netherlands U17s squad last term.
The Nigerian-born winger showed his special qualities as the Reds U21s came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with German third-tier club Sonnenhoff in a pre-season fixture on Saturday.
Adekanye was singled out for praise by U21s boss Michael Beale after the friendly in Germany.
Beale told liverpoolfc.com : “Herbie Kane was a strong influence in the game and both him and Bobby Adekanye worked chances for the team in the second half to maybe go on and steal a win.
“It was a good finish from Jake to get our equaliser after a really good move.”
