Nigeria Star Obi Mikel Hints He Is Staying Put At Chelsea
Published: August 24, 2016Super Eagles midfielder John Obi Mikel has strongly hinted that he will be staying put at Chelsea in the 2016-2017 campaign, amid speculations linking him with an exit from Stamford Bridge this summer.
The 29-year-old is in the final year of his contract with the London club, and has targeted more trophies this season.
Mikel tweeted : “Back in UK. Now the hard work with #CFC beings. Eleven seasons, eleven trophies, and I’m not done yet. ð��µ â�ªï¸� #KTBFFH”.
Mikel has not played competitively for Chelsea this season because he represented Nigeria at the Olympic Games.
He has played nonstop at Chelsea for the past ten years.
