Ex-Chelsea Ball Boy Talks About Sensational Assist For Moses Goal Vs Leicester City
Published: October 17, 2016Sierra Leonenan midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah has looked back on the assist he provided for Victor Moses’s goal against Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday, admitting that he never knew his back-heel would be perfect.
With ten minutes remaining at Stamford Bridge, a sensational pass from the England U21 international knocked the ball into the path of Moses, who beat the Foxes netminder Schmeichel with a cool finish.
“I didn’t think it would come off as perfect as that, but that was the idea, ” Chalobah told chelseafc.com.
“I’m really happy for Victor to get the goal and for the team to get the win.”
Moses, 25, has bagged three goals from nine matches in all competitions so far this season, logging 433 minutes.
Nathaniel Chalobah began his career at Chelsea as a ball boy at Stamford Bridge before making his Premier League home debut last weekend.
