Man City Nigerian Defender In Line To Play First Game Against Manchester United
Published: October 26, 2016Nigerian defender Tosin Adarabioyo is in line to feature against Manchester United in a Football League Cup Round of 16 clash at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
With Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola set to rest a couple of first team players following hectic fixtures against Barcelona and Southampton, Adarabioyo may be one of the beneficiaries if that comes to pass.
The 19-year-old did not feature for the Citizens U23s in their 3-0 win at Southampton in Premier League 2 on Monday, which has fueled speculation that he would be given a run out against the Red Devils tonight.
Manchester-born Adarabioyo made his first team debut versus Chelsea in the FA Cup back in February and was named City’s Man of the Match.
Meanwhile, Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho is also available for selection.
