Teammate Says Vardy Helped Musa Score A Great Goal Against Spurs
Published: October 31, 2016Leicester City winger Marc Albrighton has praised Nigeria star Ahmed Musa following his strike in the champions’ 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur this past weekend.
The Foxes number seven rescued a point for his team when he equalized in the 48th minute, and showed his bravery by putting his body on the line leading up to his goal, after he was set up by Jamie Vardy.
“With the players that we’ve got in the team, we’ve always got that goal threat up top,” Albrighton told LCFC TV.
“We got the one goal and we could have arguably gone on and won it.
“[Ahmed] Musa got a great goal at the back stick and Vards (Jamie Vardy) did brilliant for him. We had a couple of chances towards the end to win it. ”
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Musa picked up only a knock and should be fit for the upcoming meeting with West Brom in the Premier League.
