Aluko In The Running To Be Named Championship Best Again Four Years After Winning Award

Nigeria striker Sone Aluko is in the running to be named the most outstanding player in the Sky Bet Championship for the month of October.
The Fulham star has been shortlisted for the Player of the Month award along with Ali Al Habsi (Reading), Lewis Dunk (Brighton & Hove Albion) and Dwight Gayle (Newcastle United) .
The 27-year-old Aluko started every single game contested by the Cottagers in the English second-tier last month, and scored against Barnsley on October 15, before notching three helpers vs Huddersfield Town.
The former Hull City man first won the Championship Player of the Month award in November 2012.
Ade Akinbiyi, Chris Iwelumo and Shola Ameobi have won the prestigious award in the past.
