NFF President Claims Liverpool Wonderkid Ovie Ejaria Will Play For Nigeria NOT England

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, has claimed Liverpool new kid on the block Ovie Ejaria will commit his international future at senior level to Nigeria rather than the Three Lions.
The former Arsenal talent, who was born in London to Nigerian parents, initially chose to represent Nigeria and flirted with the Golden Eaglets squad in 2013, but has now made a U-Turn regarding his international allegiance.
Barring injury to Ejaria, the central midfielder is expected to make England’s U20s squad to the 2017 Fifa U20 World Cup, and the Nigerian Federation will have to provide documentation to Fifa before he can play for the Super Eagles.
Responding to a question from Olugbenga Adu on Twitter, Pinnick stated : “He (Ejaria) will play for Nigeria eventually. I am in touch with the dad.”
Aged 19, Ejaria is on the fringes of Liverpool’s first team, having made the 18-man squad for competitive fixtures four times this season.
