PSG Linked Defender Madu : I Am Playing My Way To A Bigger League
Published: November 24, 2016
Super Eagles left back, Kingsley Madu, has disclosed that his exploits in Slovakia with Trencin football club prepared him for the bigger challenges in European football.
The former El Kanemi Warriors enterprising defender’s impressive display in the Slovak Super Liga caught the eyes of Belgian side Zulte Waregem who sanctioned his signing in the summer transfer market.
Madu, who won bronze with the Dream Team VI at the Olympics in Brazil, said it is difficult breaking into the first as a young player but believing in himself and grabbing his opportunity is key in his growth.
“I am working really hard to play at the top. My time at Trencin is really good and educating for the challenges ahead.
“I was rewarded with my move to Belgium and I’m waiting patiently to grab my chance here,” Madu told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Madu is one of two Nigerian stars scouted by representatives of French powerhouse PSG this season, the other being Eddy Onazi of Trabzonspor.
