Muscular Injury Rules Mikel Out Of Derby Against Tottenham

Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel will not play his first competitive game of the season for Chelsea when they take on Tottenham Hotspur in a London derby on Saturday, November 26.
Chelsea coach Antonio Conte revealed during Friday’s press conference that the defensive midfielder is sidelined with a muscular injury.
Mikel, 29, has not suited up for Chelsea since May 11, 2016 when he lasted 90 minutes on the Anfield pitch against Liverpool.
He has played 372 games in a Blues shirt, scoring six goals and providing thirteen assists since transferring from Lyn Oslo in 2006.
