Ex-Real Madrid Striker Omoigui On Target Against Villarreal
Published: December 18, 2016
Former Flying Eagles invitee Cedric Omoigui was on target for Mallorca B in their 3-2 loss to Villarreal B in the Segunda B Group III on Sunday.
The center forward equalized for his team in the 73rd minute but the home team eventually prevailed thanks to a goal from Mario Gonzalez with one minute left on the clock.
Omoigui missed the first five games of the season due to a meniscus injury, but his injury worries are behind him having made the starting XI of Los Bermellones in each of the last 12 games.
The 22-year-old turned out for the youth teams of Villaverde Boetticher, Pozuelo and Real Madrid before joining Mallorca eight years ago.
