Iwobi Scores First Headed Goal Of Senior Career As Arsenal Stroll Past Crystal Palace
Arsenal moved within nine points of leaders Chelsea following a routine 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace in a Premier League clash at the Emirates on Sunday evening.

The Eagles trailed 1-0 at the break after an outrageous moment of skill from Frenchman Olivier Giroud gave the Gunners the lead in the 17th minute.

Chile star Alexis Sanchez provided the assist for the Frenchman’s fantastic back heeled goal, a goal of the season contender.

It became 2-0 in the 56th minute when Alex Iwobi scored the first headed goal of his professional career.  His header was turned on to the bar, but it managed to creep in.

The Nigeria international was replaced in the 77th minute after a good day’s work.
