Rundown of how players of Nigerian descent fared in the English Premier League on Tuesday night.

Arsenal came from three goals down to earn a 3-3 draw against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Super Eagles rising star Alex Iwobi started and was replaced in 63rd minute after a subdued performance.

England youth international Chuba Akpom is not yet match fit and wasn’t selected by manager Arsene Wenger, while Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe was an unused substitute.

The Cherries led 2-0 at the end of the first half courtesy of goals from Charlie Daniels and Callum Wilson, then Fraser scored their third goal in the 58th minute. The Gunners fought back scoring through Sanchez, Perez and Giroud.

At Bet365 Stadium, Odion Ighalo fired blanks as Watford lost 2-0 to Stoke City. Isaac Success and Italy international Stefano Okaka are still battling to overcome hamstring complaints and were not selected.

Ryan Shawcross and Peter Crouch registered their names on the score-sheet for the Potters.

Swansea City secured three massive points against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Nigeria target Freddie Ladapo wasn’t in the Eagles squad as he just returned to London from his loan spell at Oldham Athletic.

Alfie Mawson opened the scoring for the visitors three minutes before the interval. Wilfried Zaha equalized in the 83rd minutes , only for Angel Rangel to net the winner with two minutes left on the clock.
