Round up of the performances of players of Nigerian descent in the English Premier League on Sunday, February 5.

We start off at the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City left it late to beat Swansea City 2-1. The most promising talent in Africa Kelechi Iheanacho was missing from the Citizens squad for the third straight game.

England youth international Tosin Adarabioyo was also not involved, we have not seen him in the Premier League this season.

Manchester City retook the lead in the third minute of second-half stoppage time after Gabriel Jesus netted his second of the game. Gylfi Sigurdsson had equalized for the Swans with nine minutes remaining.

Leicester City are in distress after they were thrashed 3-0 by Manchester United at King Power Stadium.

Nigeria internationals Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi started for the champions but the striker was replaced at half-time.

Henrik Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Juan Mata registered their name on the scoresheet for the visitors.
