Two Nigerian Whizz-Kids Help Man Utd Come Back From Two Goals Down Against Arsenal
Published: May 09, 2017Manchester United fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Arsenal in a Premier League 2 encounter at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
Two players of Nigerian descent Tosin Kehinde and Matthew Olosunde featured for the Red Devils and both the midfielder and right fullback played key roles in the draw earned by the visitors.
Kehinde, on as a substitute after the intermission, provided the assist for Harrop to reduce the deficit in the 72nd minute.
Olosunde was full of running and was thwarted by goalkeeper Macy when he got his head to a corner.
The United States youth international was on the brink of making his Manchester United senior debut against Arsenal's first team on Sunday, but eventually was not included in their 18-man squad.
The promising defender Joseph Olowu was a non-playing substitute for Arsenal U23s.
