Spurs Starlet Eyoma Maintains Exemplary Disciplinary Record As England Reach Euro Final
Published: May 16, 2017Tottenham Hotspur whizkid Timothy Eyoma helped England to qualify for the UEFA U17 European Championship final after their 2-1 win over Turkey in the semifinal on Tuesday evening.
Eyoma worked a full shift in defense, and maintained his exemplary disciplinary record as he was not booked for the fifth game on the bounce.
First half goals from from Callum Hudson-Odoi and Jadon Sancho put England 2-0 up, before Kerem Kesgin reduced the deficit in the 13th minute of first-half stoppage time.
The 17-year-old Eyoma made his UEFA Competition debut against Monaco in the Youth League in September 2016 and made his first competitive appearance for the U17s against Azerbaijan in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship .
Steve Cooper's side will face Germany or Spain in Friday's showpiece game at Stadion Andelko Herjavec, Varazdin.
