Watford's Isaac Success Visa Application To France GRANTED, Injury Rules Him Out
Published: May 27, 2017Rumours in the local media that Watford's Isaac Success will not be available for Nigeria's get-together in France because his application for a visa was turned down by the French embassy are wide of the mark.
It is correct that the former Golden Eaglets sensation wanted to be part of the squad and applied for a French visa, but eventually had to withdraw as a result of a groin injury he picked up at Watford.
Success's representative told allnigeriasoccer.com : ''Success picked up his visa in England on Friday, he was not denied a visa. His passport was with the French Embassy and that's why he couldn't travel to Nigeria until this weekend.
''He won't be available for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa because of the groin injury and Watford have informed the Nigerian Federation.''
After starring for Nigeria's U17 and U20 national teams, Success made his senior debut against Senegal in March.
