Liverpool Vs Crystal Palace : Former Flying Eagles Invitee In Line To Feature
Published: July 18, 2017Former Flying Eagles invitee Freddie Ladapo is in line to feature for Crystal Palace when they tackle Liverpool in the Premier League Asia Trophy on Wednesday afternoon.
Ladapo was named in the Eagles traveling party to Hong Kong, along with fellow strikers Christian Benteke and Keshi Anderson.
The 24-year-old was not involved in Crystal Palace's opening pre-season schedule against Magnus Okuonghae's Maidstone United because manager Frank de Boer decided to run the rule over the top talents in the U23 side.
Ladapo has yet to make his competitive debut for the Londoners, but impressed during his loan spells with Oldham Athletic and Shrewsbury Town last season, scoring seven goals in all competitions for both teams.
Other players of Nigerian descent expected to feature in the Premier League Asia Trophy are Super Eagles stars Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi (both Leicester City) and West Brom's Hal Robson-Kanu.
