Outstanding Super Eagles Trainee Scores, Bags Assist For Arsenal In Win Over Boreham Wood

Chuba Akpom, Mathieu Debuchy, Carl Jenkinson and Jeff Reine-Adelaide all started for the Gunners squad coached by Steve Gatting.
Arsenal thrashed the fifth-tier club 4-0, with Super Eagles trainee Chuba Akpom opening the scoring in the 12th minute.
The Hale End Academy product kept his nerve to convert from the penalty spot after Eddie Nketiah was fouled in the area, then set up the Gunners second goal scored by Mavididi.
Just before half-time, Toral added the third goal of the day when he slotted past Smith after Nketiah's shot was saved.
In the second half, Mavididi increased the lead to 4-0, poking home from close range and came close to grabbing a hat-trick but fired over the bar in the 67th minute.
