Chelsea Loanee Abraham After Netting Two In Three : I Came Here To Score Goals
Published: July 30, 2017Welsh club Swansea City warmed up for their Premier League opener against Southampton in two weeks time by beating Birmingham City 2-0 at St. Andrew's Stadium on Saturday.
England U21 star Tammy Abraham tallied his second goal in three matches for the Swans.
The Chelsea loanee opened the scoring before the hour mark with a volley at the back post after great work from Leroy Fer.
''I am very pleased. I came here to score goals and help the team as much as I can,” Abraham told Swansea City's official website.
''I have been in the right place at the right time and I am happy I have got my goals.
''It was a nice finish. I could have had more but I take that and move on. We get ready for the next game and for the season.''
On his debut, Abraham netted the winner for Swansea City in their 2-1 win over Richmond Kickers on July 20.
