Chelsea Dazzler Moses Reacts After Loss To Arsenal: Not The Result We Hoped For
Published: August 07, 2017Victor Moses has shared his thoughts on Chelsea's 4-1 loss on penalties to Arsenal in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
The right wing-back netted his first competitive goal for the Premier League champions in nine months when he refiled home in the first minute of the second half, but their London opponents equalized with eight minutes remaining.
Penalties had to decide the winner of the contest and Moses's teammates Courtois and Alvaro Morata failed to convert their spot-kicks.
''Not the ending we were hoping for yesterday in the end but we feel fit and ready for a big season ahead. Fans were amazing yesterday #CFC,'' tweeted Victor Moses.
The Blues number fifteen will miss their Premier League opener against Burnley this weekend as a result of the red card he received in the final match of last season.
