Former Chelsea Wonderkid Tipped To Win Liverpool Player Of The Season
Published: August 08, 2017Former Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke has been tipped to win Liverpool Player of the Season by Reds legend Jamie Redknapp.
The England youth international of Nigerian parentage ended his thirteen-year association with Chelsea this summer as he was looking for more first-team opportunities.
''Coming in under the radar is Dominic Solanke. I know Chelsea were gutted to let him go, not much they could do,'' Redknapp said on Sky Sports.
''He can be a real star for them [Liverpool].''
Solanke has impressed the Liverpool faithful in pre-season, scoring against Crystal Palace, Hertha BSC and Athletic Club in friendly matches.
