Chelsea Boss Conte Refuses To Press The Panic Button : Moses Will Return Against Tottenham
Published: August 12, 2017Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has refused to press the panic button in the wake of his side's shock 3-2 loss to Burnley at Stamford Bridge in their first game of the new Premier League season.
The Italian will not be able to count on the services of captain Gary Cahill and Cesc Fàbregas for the short trip to Tottenham Hotspur on game week two because of the red cards they received against the Clarets.
Quizzed by reporters about the lack of available players next week, especially as Pedro, Hazard and Bakayoko are on the sidelines due to injuries, Conte stressed that he wasn't worried.
He said : ''I am not worried because we have to trust in our work and today there were there injured players, one player missed for a ban. ''
Victor Moses had been punished with a one-game ban by the English FA after he was dismissed in the Emirates FA Cup final against Arsenal in May.
The Super Eagles star was sighted at the Stadium in today's game, along with retired Nigeria international Michael Emenalo.
