Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool Stars Nominated For EPL Player Of The Month
Published: September 01, 2017Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata are in contention to win the Premier League Player of the Month for August 2017.
The two new signings feature on the seven-man shortlist for the best player in the English top-flight this past month.
In the first three matches in the Premier League, Lukaku has registered his name on the scoresheet three times, while Morata has contributed to four goals (2 goals, 2 assists).
Liverpool's African stars Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, Phil Jones and Henrik Mkhitaryan (Manchester United), Jonas Lossl (Huddersfield Town) have also been nominated for the prestigious accolade.
Jose Mourinho (Manchester United), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Tony Pulis (West Bromwich Albion) and David Wagner (Huddersfield Town)have been shortlisted for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for August.
