Published: September 12, 2017Promising Nigerian midfielder Noah Okafor made his UEFA Youth League debut for FC Basel in their 4-3 loss to Manchester United U19s at Leigh Sports Village Company on Tuesday afternoon.
The 17-year-old entered in to the fray in the 53rd minute with his team trailing 2-1.
Aidan Barlow gave Manchester United the lead after six minutes, only for Pululu to restore parity on 14 minutes.
Indy Boonen scored five minutes out of intermission to put United back on top, before Angel Gomes scored from the penalty spot to double the advantage seven minutes later.
