Super Strike From Nigerian Midfielder As Manchester United Are Held By Chelsea
Published: September 19, 2017Nigerian teenagers Tosin Kehinde and Matthew Olosunde started for Manchester United as they battled to a 2-2 draw with Chelsea in a Premier League 2 encounter at Electrical Services Stadium (Aldershot, Hampshire) on Monday night.
Whilst Kehinde was in the starting line-up for the second time this season, the United States youth international recorded his fifth straight start for the Red Devils.
The Lagos born midfielder fired Manchester United into the lead when he scored from the edge of the box in the 38th minute, his first goal for the Old Trafford outfit in PL2 since February 2017.
James Wilson doubled the advantage eight minutes into the second half, before Christie-Davies made it 2-1 on 72 minutes.
Matthew Olosunde was blamed for the second goal conceded by Manchester United, he missed his clearance and Hudson-Odoi fired into the far corner to level the scores.
