Andrei Kanchelskis : I'll Be Disappointed If Manchester United Lose To CSKA

Former Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis says he will be disappointed if Manchester United lose to CSKA Moscow in the Champions League tonight.

Kanchelskis spent four seasons at Old Trafford and helped the Red Devils win the Premier League titles in 1993 and 1994, and was also part of the team that won the FA Cup in 1994 and the 1991 UEFA Super Cup.

''CSKA will have chances today, but the psychological and physical condition of the Army Men is important,'' Kanchelskis was quoted saying by championat.com.
 
''Of course,  Manchester United are the favorite in today's meeting but the British have so far played only with weak rivals in the Premier League.

''Yes, there was Everton, but the guys beat them 4-0. Today there will be an important game with CSKA. This is another rival, and they play a completely different football.

''CSKA is the best team in Russian football. Frankly, neither Spartak nor Zenit can compete with it.''

The former Manchester United number seven added : ''If Man Utd loses, I will be disappointed. Yes, when CSKA plays against any other opponent, I support them. But I did not play for them.

''My club is Manchester United, they did everything for me in football life. I'm not a patriot? I am a patriot of football! Do not deceive yourself, but you need to cheer for the team that you love''.
