Published: October 14, 2017Chelsea recorded their seventh consecutive win in the U18 Premier League following their hard-fought 3-2 victory over Leicester City at Leicester City Training Ground on Saturday, with four players of Nigerian descent making the match day squad.
England U19 star Tariq Uwakwe, dubbed the new Obi Mikel due to his versatility, and Faustino Anjorin started for Chelsea, and Ade Akinjogbin was a non-playing substitute for this one.
The highly-rated left back Calvin Ughelumba was on the pitch for the Foxes for the entire duration of the game.
George Heaven opened the scoring for the home team but the champions restored parity through Charlie Brown and were 2-1 ahead two minutes into the second half thanks to Taylor-Crossdale's effort.
